Process

We know you love letterpress. It’s important to realize how much love, care, and labor is required to complete the process. Our technique is not much different from the one perfected by Johannes Gutenberg over 550 years ago, ours being married to a little modern technology and PDP ingenuity. It starts with ideas and designs that are specifically considered to benefit the letterpress technique. Inks are selected, printing plates are made, and then it’s time to start printing. From the time we receive the large paper sheets to final packaging of a job, our pieces have been touched by human hands at least six times. Take that Kinkos!
