Island Inspired Custom Wedding Invitation

This project was done for a great couple renewing their wedding vows after 30 wonderful years of marriage. Their destination; The Island of Bermuda, one of our favorite destinations too! The couple wanted something island inspired but yet traditional and more formal. Our design department worked together with the couple to come up with the tasteful and elegant combination of island inspired design elements. The couple’s ever so important color selection was pink and ivory. So we perfectly matched our inks to their shade of pink, the predominant color in their palette. The paper is a toothy #110lb, 100% cotton, tree-free stock in creamy Ivory. The fonts are Linoscript for the scripted text and Brockscript for the couple’s names, printed in a warm grey. The pink was printed first and with just enough impression to pick it up visually. Then, the grey was overprinted with much more depth to create a very dramatic impression and contrast between the two colors. Something about the color combo of ivory and grey is very classy and the pink really cools down the color palette. Last step was to trim them to size and pair with a matching ivory envelope.
